Vodka Tasting

General Safety
- Transport: Use Bolt or Uber with GPS tracking for late-night rides. Licensed taxis are safe but agree on the fare or insist on the meter before departing.
- Pickpockets: Be alert in the Main Market Square, on trams, and at tourist hotspots. Carry a cross-body bag and keep valuables in front pockets.
- Scams: Avoid strip clubs and bars where strangers invite you in — these can overcharge dramatically. Stick to well-reviewed venues.
- Emergency: EU emergency number: 112. Police: 997. Ambulance: 999. Tourist police are available in the Old Town during peak season.
Tips for Solo Women Travelers
- Night safety: The Old Town and Kazimierz are well-lit and populated late. Stick to main streets and well-known venues. Use Bolt/Uber for late returns.
- Accommodation: Many hostels offer female-only dorms. Mundo and Mosquito hostels both have excellent options for solo women travelers.
